Friday night and the high street is pretty empty, we find a pub we quite like the look of, albeit, quite empty. The first thing that hits you is the smell of fresh paint, the second, the barman!
My friend thinks the barman is fit. Nice arse, nice face, she says.
The benefit, of course, is we can get a seat right by the window so we can people watch. Lots of smokers, lots of girls tottering about badly in high heels. Girls stand up straight!
A group of guys come in and we have a nice banter and a laugh with them. They have a sense of humour.
But, by half past ten it empties, it seems this is a short stopping place before heading on to better places.
They play good dance music, not too loud, so you can still chat if you want to.
Would i go again? Yeah I think so.

My new years resolution is to visit a different pub every week in my local area.
I thought I'd write about my experiences.

So, the pub is what I would call a 'real' pub. Leather seats and stools and a bar that is dark wood.
Music played, but not so loud that you couldn't catch up on the goss with mates.
Mixed age group and a mixture of intelligences. More men than females present.
There was a very loved up couple in tonight, couldn't keep their hands off each other. Made me realise how sickening it is to watch someone in lust, especially being newly single.
Drink prices were reasonable.
Totty count- 1/10. A bit too old for my liking!
